Men’s Divisions
Heavyweight (265 lbs) — Tom Aspinall (15-3) The English heavyweight was promoted to undisputed champion in June 2025 after Jon Jones retired. Aspinall is currently recovering from eye surgery following a no-contest against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 in October 2025. No return date has been announced.
Light Heavyweight (205 lbs) — Alex Pereira (13-3) The Brazilian knockout artist reclaimed his title at UFC 320 in October 2025 with a first-round TKO of Magomed Ankalaev. Pereira has announced plans to challenge for the heavyweight title at a proposed UFC White House event in June 2026.
Middleweight (185 lbs) — Khamzat Chimaev (15-0) The undefeated Chechen-born Swedish fighter won the middleweight title at UFC 319 in August 2025 with a dominant unanimous decision over Dricus du Plessis. Chimaev enters 2026 as one of the most dominant champions in the promotion.
Welterweight (170 lbs) — Islam Makhachev (28-1) The pound-for-pound number one fighter defeated Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 in November 2025 to become the eleventh double champion in UFC history, tying Anderson Silva’s record for the longest winning streak at 16 consecutive victories.
Lightweight (155 lbs) — Ilia Topuria (17-0) / Interim: Justin Gaethje (26-5) The undefeated Topuria won the lightweight title at UFC 317 in June 2025 but stepped away for personal reasons. Gaethje captured the interim title at UFC 324 in January 2026 with a unanimous decision over Paddy Pimblett. A unification bout is expected in mid-2026.
Featherweight (145 lbs) — Alexander Volkanovski (28-4) Australia’s own successfully defended his title at UFC 325 in Sydney on February 1, 2026, defeating Diego Lopes by unanimous decision. The two-time champion is tied for the most featherweight title wins in UFC history.
Bantamweight (135 lbs) — Petr Yan (20-5) The Russian fighter recaptured the bantamweight championship at UFC 323 in December 2025 with a unanimous decision over Merab Dvalishvili. Yan enters 2026 as the two-time bantamweight champion.
Flyweight (125 lbs) — Joshua Van (16-2) The 24-year-old became the second-youngest champion in UFC history when he defeated Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 323 in December 2025. Van finished 2025 with a remarkable 4-0 record.
Women’s Divisions
Bantamweight (135 lbs) — Kayla Harrison (19-1) The two-time Olympic judo gold medallist captured the women’s bantamweight title at UFC 316 in June 2025 with a submission victory over Julianna Pena. Her title defence against Amanda Nunes at UFC 324 was postponed due to Harrison’s neck surgery.
Flyweight (125 lbs) — Valentina Shevchenko (26-4-1) The two-time champion has made two successful defences in her second reign, most recently defeating Zhang Weili by unanimous decision at UFC 322 in November 2025.
Strawweight (115 lbs) — Mackenzie Dern (16-5) Dern won the women’s strawweight title at UFC 321 in October 2025 with a unanimous decision over Virna Jandiroba.
