L’Equipe first carried the German left-back as en route to Bayern on 2 July; a day later the same outlet reported the move complete, with Brown strengthening the champions on a long-term deal. Brown arrives from Eintracht Frankfurt, where he established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most productive young full-backs before breaking into the Germany side. No fee figure appeared in the cited reporting, so none is stated here.
